How much will my repair cost?
Great question! First, we need to perform a proper diagnostic of your vehicle. Once we find out the issue, we will provide you with a written estimate and go over each repair line by line so all the information will be explained in a clear, precise, and professional manner. We will NOT perform any repairs on your vehicle until we get your consent.
Can you explain the diagnostic process?
Sure! When you drop off your vehicle, you’ll fill out our check-in form providing us with the issues you are experiencing. We create a ticket with all the information and hand it to the technician. The technician will then begin the diagnostic process, which includes a 30-point visual safety inspection, test driving the vehicle, and scanning the vehicle, including logging data. The diagnostic is an HOURLY charge, but don’t worry! We have the best technicians, and most of the time they can diagnose your vehicle within one hour. If we do need more diagnostic time, we will contact you to explain why and discuss pricing. We will NOT charge you for additional diagnostic time without your approval.
How long will the repair take?
We know you need your vehicle back ASAP! Depending on the type of repair and parts availability, light to moderate repairs take no longer than a day or two. Heavy repairs can take up to a week. This can also be affected by shipping, weather, holidays, etc. We will always keep you informed every step of the way. Communication is key!
Do you offer a warranty on the work performed?
Absolutely! We have been in business for over 16 years. Warranty is extremely important, which is why we offer a 12-month/12,000-mile warranty on all work we perform. If you have any issues with the work we performed, please contact us immediately and we will make it right. No hassle, no excuses — we hold ourselves to the highest standard and take full accountability. (Customer-provided parts will NOT have a warranty on parts or labor.)
Do all the suggested repairs need to be fixed right now?
It depends. We do not want you to feel pressured or upsold. When we go over all repairs line by line, we will explain the urgency of each one. First and most important are safety-related repairs — these are the type that could potentially put you or someone else at risk. We also have suggested wear-and-tear repairs. These are caused by mileage and time and do not need immediate attention, but are worth noting. Finally, there are maintenance and manufacturer-recommended repairs. These are very important, as many vehicle failures today are the result of lack of maintenance — more than half of the repairs we perform stem from a lack of general upkeep. Let us keep you on the road safely by keeping your vehicle maintained!
